BAM Interbuild and Vanhout are starting the substructure of "The Banks"
On the Havenlaan in Brussels, where until recently the famous KBC building stood, The Banks will soon arise: a brand new and family-friendly green residential area. Commissioned by client triple Living, BAM Interbuild, in temporary partnership with Vanhout, will start work on the substructure in March.
In the coming year, work will be done on the underground parking of 4,900m² divided between floors -1 and -2. These works will start in mid-March. The superstructure will follow in late 2025.
Architects OFFICE Kersten Geers David Van Severen and Nicolas Firket Architects are designing the master plan and buildings. With Bontinck Architects as executive architect. The Banks is a green residential site, with a landscape design by the renowned Bureau Bas Smets, who also designed the landscape park of nearby Tour & Taxis and the landscape of Nieuw Zuid in Antwerp.
