Impressive residential towers with world-class design
Interbuild, together with Jan de Nul, is again building 2 new residential blocks at Nieuw Zuid. Scheldehof is another world-class design. It is designed by Swiss architect Max Dudler and the executive architects are Jaspers - Eyers. The impressive building embraces an expansive courtyard with large green areas. All apartments have extra-high living spaces and a terrace room as an additional living volume. A spacious collective roof terrace forms an additional outdoor space. Scheldehof consists of one 80-meter-high residential tower, comprising 23 floors and a lower residential block next to it.
The ground floor will accommodate commercial trade spaces, above which will be apartments. The exterior facade will be finished with a special natural stone.
"The lower buildings have an effective arena shape, so people feel more connected to the square. The tower draws attention more to the distance."
Works started in August 2020 and the end of works is scheduled for August 2023 for the residential block and November 2023 for the residential tower.
